The 17th-century Fox Inn is set on the banks of the River Windrush, in the lovely Cotswolds countryside. It offers individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi, a charming pub and riverside dining.

The Fox’s 4 luxury river mews rooms boast Cotswold stone walls and wooden beams, with traditional pub rooms also available. All rooms feature a TV, private bathroom and fishing rights for a private area of the river, with expert lessons also available.

Guests can enjoy home-cooked breakfasts made with locally-sourced ingredients, and a refined evening menu. Food is served in the pub bar, the beautiful riverside conservatory, and on the outdoor terrace looking across the gardens.

The Landlord’s father, a recently retired local butcher of 50 years, has joined the team, preparing only the best and tastiest meats.

Just 3 miles from Burford, the Inn is in perfect country for walking and cycling. Historic Oxford and Stratford-Upon-Avon can both be reached in about 40 minutes’ drive.
